Preparing for St. Patrick's Day
What to Wear on St. Patrick’s Day
St. Patrick’s Day is tomorrow, Monday March 17th. Be ready to get trashed with this Irish tuxedo shirt. For God’s sakes, it has a damned clover of the lapel! For those of you who work in a “conservative” atmosphere, this will make a great undershirt. If you don’t have a green shirt by St. Patrick’s Day, wear a wife beater and draw a green four leaf clover on it.
What to Drink on St. Patrick’s Day
We recommend that you have an Irish Coffee before work, a pint or two of Guinness for lunch and a few Irish Car Bombs after work. We suggest you keep a green Sharpie or marker with you on St. Patrick’s Day. Draw a line on your forearm for each drink you take to keep a tally for the day.
How to Prepare an Irish Coffee
- Mix 2 sugars and 1 shot of Irish whiskey (Jameson) into a cup of hot coffee
- Add some Bailey’s Irish Cream (optional)
- Add some Whipped Cream to the top
- Sip and enjoy!
How to Prepare an Irish Car Bomb
- Place an empty puke bucket next to your feet
- Fill a pint glass 1/2 to 2/3 full with Guinness stout beer
- Fill a shot glass with 50% Bailey’s Irish Cream and 50% Irish Whiskey (Jameson)
- Drop the shot glass into the pint of Guinness, and immediatley drink the entire concoction
What to Eat on St. Patrick’s Day
We don’t recommend eating on St. Patrick’s Day since this will ruin your buzz; plus Guinness is a meal in itself. However, if you need to eat, here are some suggestions on what to eat:
