Have you ever watched the episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation where captain Jean Luc Picard is assimilated into the Borg and becomes “Locutus”¹? He, like many other Borg, had a cool robotic claw attachment on one of his arms.

Being Borg is not easy. It means that you lose all sense of individuality and privacy and become one with a “Hive Mind”. However, having a robotic claw for a hand opens up tons of advantages with being able to fix stuff, reach stuff, and hold stuff; not to mention the obvious benefits you have with the Ladies and cracking open shellfish.
