iPhone Impatience Leads Lady to get OWNED!

Wednesday, October 3rd, 2007 4:00 am by BGW

Baby Completely Owned By Older SiblingAt OfferOfTheDay.com, we occasionally want to educate our loyal readers. That said, we’ll define a word for you that you’ve probably heard, but may not have known the exact connotations for. We feel this word is important to have in one’s vocabulary and can be used in many everyday situations.

The word is “owned“; and we’re NOT eluding to the act of once having had something as a physical possession either. This seemingly innocuous word has very dyer implications.

For example, to the right you’ll see a photo showing a baby getting “owned” by an older sibling.

We’ll define “owned” as best we can and we’ll also show you a video example so that it’s crystal clear. And believe us, the video example we will show you will be one of the best examples of “ownership” or “ownage” you’ll ever see.

First off, let’s begin with the definition of “owned“:

The past tense of own, referring to something or someone becoming the property (figuratively) of someone else, usually after being dominated in some derogatory or demeaning fashion. Similar to being “served“, being owned involves becoming the “bitch” of someone else after being totally dominated, ruled, controlled, demoralized or embarrassed by them, typically in public - usually resulting in shame and embarrassment for the victim and his/her family until the end of time.

– sometimes typed 0wned or pwned1.

Can describe the following:

  1. a gamer being dominated by another during video game play
  2. a skateboarder, snowboarder, biker etc. after an extreme fall
  3. a porn actress after a long and hardcore session with a guy or multiple guys

Also important to know:

  • own (v) - to own; the act of “owning”
  • ownee (n) - the person getting “owned”
  • owner (n) - the person doing the “owning”
  • ownership (n) - the state or fact of being an “owner”
  • ownage (n) - an instance in which someone or something is “owned”

VIDEO EXAMPLE: Watch as an impatient female eBay nut-hugger gets completely OWNED, in this case she gets “iPhowned“, for her ignorance and “lack of vision” with regards to the Apple iPhone release. An important lesson to learn while watching the video - You can’t ALWAYS get things the EASY way.

Was that complete “ownage” or what? Leave Comments below:

  1. pwn - a word, originating from a misspelled version of the word “own” in a computer game [^]

I don’t know who gets “owned” more though…the baby in the pic or that grown woman in the video.

The iphone lady got MORE owned because this was on the news on video. Plus, she can comprehend the ramifications of being “owned”, whereas the little kid cannot.

I’m patient, I am waiting for the best opportunity to buy my iPhone. I can’t wait to get it so I can talk on the phone, browse the web, smash spiders with it, and txt friends while I take a dump.

I see some resemblence between the two, I wonder if this kind of ownage can be passed down to your kids.

Wow, iPhowned. That needs a place in the Urban Dictionary.
