My Dumb Homemade Halloween Mask

The Lazy Man’s Clown Mask:

I didn’t feel like buying a costume this year because I waited until last night and I didn’t want to look like a jerk shopping for a costume at Safeway. So I went rummaging through my drawers and made this little gem. I used a paper plate, some post-it notes (2 different colors), a shoe lace, and a Swiffer duster refill for the beard. All stuff I found in my house!

I scrubbed some BBQ sauce and water on the surface of the plate to give it a textured and aged look. I used staples to attach the beard and scotch tape to fasten the post-it “hair”.  Anything else would be overkill. All in all, it took me about 45 minutes to construct this monstrosity.

BTW, this mask was inspired by a mask I saw from the movie Halloween.
